WOOD WORKS

"Wood Works" exhibition includes examples from The Wood Programme of Aalto University School of Architecture. The Wood Programme was launched in 1994. The idea is to learn about building in wood by creating and constucting wood architecture focused on the future.
The Wood Programme offers a series of English taught lectures on wood, short exercises, workshops and excursions. The core of the programme is to design and build an innovative wooden structure on a 1:1 scale.
The Virtual Museum of Architecture is hosting "Wood Works" exhibition which was exhibited at The Building Information Centre between 7 March- 1 April 2011.
