ARCHITECT KEMALEDDIN: A LIFE AT ONE OF HISTORY'S TURNING POINTS (1870-1927) |
1925-1927 Bellevue Palace Ankara
The construction process of Kemaleddin Bey’s project designed in 1926 as a Foundation apartment extended beyond his death and was transformed into a hotel. Conceived with modular planning and fitted with modern comforts like other foundation apartments it consists of large flats with seven rooms. The wide balconies on the front facade of the symmetrical plan structure are an architectural pattern that must have been used for the first time by Kemaleddin Bey.
