The AYAZMAS (Spring of water regarded as sacred by Orthodox Greeks)
Ayios Athanasios Ayazma is probably the oldest water fountain in Tatavla. It is situated below the church of the same name.
The Ayios Haralambos Ayazma located in the garden of Ayios Dimitrios church has survived to our time.
The Yenetlion Tis Theotoku Ayazma is in the courtyard of Evangelistria Church and is a small domed stone building with a tile-covered roof to the left of the main entrance. The water fountain has survived to this day, and has undergone recent restoration.
