The Pomi Catalogue
The Pomi catalogue is set in the 22nd century. It has the nature of a key to the world of nation states that have not yet been invented, but which will be invented in the near future by being established from scratch. It differs from a supermarket where everything you see on the shelves is for sale in that everything you see around you is for sale, that is to say, people, clay forms, submerged branches, rivers and mountains, not to mention weapons, ministries, sportsmen and, of course, all kinds of buildings are for sale. But the Pomi catalogue is naturally not the kind of object that can fall into the hands of just anyone anywhere. The Pomi company is a working company, a global company that has pulverised, cleaned up and sterilized a number of countries in the world. It is evident from their slogans that they have no shame for the tricks they have pulled off. "We stated globally"*, they say...
*That is to say, "We have made a global statement", they say. The expression leaves the best impression to the reader of the kind of relationship that can be established between doing and doing harm. On the other hand, as ‘State’ also has the meaning of country, they also use this ambiguous slogan to express the idea that we have built new countries.
