Piginda - Bargasa Theatre

Aydın, Bozdoğan, Çamlıdere Village

Research has shown that the name Piginda originates from the Luwi language. Certain sources refer to this ruined Carian city as Bargasa. Its theatre is outside the citadel. Since no excavations have been conducted here, no building elements of the theatre have been brought to light. Apart from some parts of two seating benches found in a dry stone wall on the edge of a nearby field, there is little sign of the theatre on the surface. It gives the impression of having a small cavea.
