It has been damaged to a great extent by the destructive effects of contemporary construction. The boundaries of the amphitheatre’s koilon and the orchestra pit can be distinguished. Modern buildings have been constructed in the orchestra section. Among the buildings and the gardens the remains of some of the amphitheatre’s walls and vaulted entrance can be made out.
