There have been no archaeological excavations in the ancient city as yet. The cavea of the theatre is arranged in front of a rocky cliff. It is an extremely sheltered place in windy weather. A local rock reaching out from the hillside into the cavea of this theatre divides the back rows into two.
Thirteen rows of benches are out on the surface. It has a capacity of approximately 1,000 people.
