Kyme Theatre

The theatre of Kyme is located at the foot of the slope overlooking the bay. It is a north-facing structure. The mouldings on the orchestra sidewall are rather elaborate. A section of the uniform pieces of marble cladding the orchestra has survived. No excavation has been carried out. It can be understood from the proportions of the koilon that the theatre may have been enlarged in Roman times with additional tiers of seats. The theatre is of average size.
