Euromos (Kyromos) Theatre

Muğla, on the Milas-İzmir road, Selimiye

In the Hellenistic era the city was known as Euromos, but it was formerly known by the indigenous people as Hyromos or Kyromos.

The theatre has only one level. There are about 19 rows of benches for spectators. The total number of stepped radial ways is six. The radius of the orchestra is 26 feet. The length of the building behind the stage is approximately 58 feet and the width 14 feet. It was probably 34 feet tall.

Measurements on site indicate a seating capacity of around 1,800 people.
