Cibyra theatre faces southeast from an altitude of 1,234 metres above sea level. The cavea consists of approximately forty rows and three levels. In other words, there are two central walkways. There must be 18 rows of benches beneath the ruins in the first level. In the second level there are 12 rows and in the third there are 10. Seats with backboards line the edge of the first central walkway, which is six feet and four inches in width, to enhance sound echo. The backboard of these seats is cut in accordance with the gradient. Six radial ways are visible in the first level and 10 radial stairways are visible in the second. One of the arched entrances to the first central walkway is intact. Some of the doors of the stage building as well as some of its sections are still standing. No archaeological excavation has been conducted. The ruins that have survived bear characteristics of Roman engineering.
Measurements taken on site indicate a capacity of approximately 7,400 people.
