Archery stone belonging to Husameddin Aga

Target stone of Kahvecibasi Husameddin Aga (the chief coffee maker of Selim III) with a tablet inscribed in celi ta’lik script found as two pieces in Military Museum in Harbiye.
Inscription:
Bârekallah zehî serkahve-i şâh-ı cihân
Ol Hüsâmeddin Ağa’dır pehlivân-ı kâmurân
Etmemişken bir eyice meşki bu sâl-i şitâ
Gayreti bâzûya aldı yâr-veş oldu kemân
Çünki erdi menzil-i maksûda bâ-feyz-i Hudâ
Oldu ol şâyeste-i tahsîn-i hakkaa bî-gümân
Âferin etdi âna ehl-i kemânın cümlesi
Harf-i cevherdârile târîhini etdim beyân
Çâryâr imdâd edüp İlhâmî târîhin dedi :
İşte bu meydân-ı âlîye güzel dikdi nişân (1)
Fî sene selâse ve mieteyn ve elf

This stone was put up to commemorate the record shot of 991 cubits performed in 1789 with a north east wind by Husameddin Aga, in the year Sultan Selim III obtained his archery diploma.
