Anemurium Theatre

Mersin, Anamur

The ruins of Anemurium theatre are a fine example to illustrate the construction phases of a theatre in the Roman era. There is space for 26 rows of benches. The vaulted passages providing access from the top of the theatre, the entrances opening onto the orchestra space and the support wall in front of it are intact.

It has a capacity for approximately 2,700 people.
